Summary
Patrick Corr was born about 1885. He enlisted as a young man and fought in the South African War. He married in 1905 and had three children. He remained a reservist with the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders and was called up at the outbreak of war. He re-enlisted with the Scottish Rifles when his term was up. He was injured three times and won the Military Medal, being the first soldier from Coagh to do so. By 1918, it seems Patrick had been promoted to sergeant.
