Leslie McIlree was listed on Panel Two of the World War One memorial in Coagh Orange Hall to those who served. He was one of eight brothers who served, four of whom were listed on the memorial. He was the son of John and Eliza Martha McIlree. He was born in 1886 in the Coagh area. By 1901 Leslie had left school and was a linen weaver. Private Leslie McIlree served with the 6th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers in World War One.
