Hugh Beatty was the eldest son of Hugh and Elizabeth Beattie. Hugh Beattie and Elizabeth Dallas were married on 10th August 1895 in the district of Cookstown.
Hugh Beattie was born on 16th June 1897. He was the oldest of four children, all born in Coagh.
