18/06/2017 Rifleman Robert Wright has no known grave and is commemorated on panel 15A-15B on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
18/06/2017 It is recorded that Rifleman Robert Wright died of wounds received on the first day of the battle of the Somme on Saturday 1st July 1916. It is not known if he was injured on that day.
